    – Hire a car yourself, just keep an eye on online road updates for how the roads are.
    – Self catering as much as possible, food shopping at Bonus and Kronan supermarkets
    – Free walking tour in Reykjavik which is a good couple of hours and get a few tips from the local tour guide (works on tips)
    – Download Appy Hour app to find what bars are doing happy hour at what times (good way to save on a few drinks)
    – There are lots of natural thermal pools throughtout Iceland if you would prefer that than Blue Lagoon (suggest going to blue lagoon anyway!)
    – Tap water is ridiculously clear and cost nothing instead of buying bottled water. Grab a bottle and refill it as much as possible
